Samboja Lestari Wildlife Adventure (3D/2N)
Embark on a remarkable 2-night adventure within the heart of the Samboja Lestari Reserve, aptly named "Samboja Forever." Here, you'll delve into the lives of these rehabilitated orangutans as they adapt to their newfound natural habitat. Furthermore, you'll venture deep into the tropical jungle, which serves as home to a staggering 137 species of birds and 9 species of primates.
An extraordinary highlight of your adventure will be traversing one of the canopy bridges suspended high among ancient trees, with some reaching more than 30 meters in height.

Itinerary
Day 1: Balikpapan - Samboja Lestari Reserve
Upon arrival at Balikpapan airport, our team will meet you and transfer you to the Samboja Park. As you enter, you'll pass through the lush rainforest. After checking in at The Samboja Lodge, you can climb the tower for an overview of the Samboja area. Later, you'll visit the area where rehabilitated orangutans and sun bears are preparing for their return to the wild. Enjoy lunch and dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Samboja Lestari and Beyond
After breakfast, you have the option to participate in the educational programs offered at Samboja or have some leisure time. Lunch will be served at Samboja Lodge. Later, embark on a one-hour drive to Bukit Bangkirai, where you'll find diverse hardwood trees and a stunning Tree Top Hanging Bridge offering panoramic views of Kalimantan's lush hills. Continue to the Black River, part of the Balikpapan Bay wetland system. Here, you'll sail by canoe through the mangrove forest, searching for proboscis monkeys and birds. Return to the hotel for dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Samboja Lestari - Balikpapan - End of Trip
After breakfast, you have free time to explore the jungle of Samboja Lestari Park. Later, our team will transfer you to Balikpapan Airport for your onward journey. Thank you for exploring this natural haven. Sampai Jumpa! (Goodbye)
