Itinerary
Day 1: PONTIANAK: Gateway to the Equator
Welcome to Pontianak! This unique city sits right on the equator, where the northern and southern hemispheres converge. Our local driver will be waiting for you at the airport to ensure your comfortable transfer to your hotel. As the sun paints the sky with its evening hues, indulge in a delightful dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: PONTIANAK - PUTUSSIBAU: The Dayak Encounter Begins
After a nourishing breakfast, relish in some leisure time until it's time for your flight to Putussibau. Upon your arrival, our team will ensure a smooth transfer to a traditional Dayak village. Along the way, you'll savor a delightful lunch. Immerse yourself in the captivating rhythms of tribal life as you share the evening with the locals, enjoying their dinner, and resting in a traditional longhouse.

Day 3: PUTUSSIBAU - BETUNG KERIHUN NATIONAL PARK: Into the Heart of the Jungle
Following a hearty breakfast at the longhouse, we set out on a journey to the Embaloh River, passing through lush farmlands along the way. Once we arrive, a longboat will carry us upstream, passing by Mataso Village, until we reach the renowned Betung Kerihun National Park. This park is a sanctuary for approximately 300 bird species, including 25 endemics to Borneo, and it's home to around 160 fish species and 54 known mammal species. While we cruise through this natural wonder, savor a delectable lunch en route. Your dinner and accommodation for the night will either be in a jungle camp or, depending on jungle conditions, in a local house.

Day 4: BETUNG KERIHUN NATIONAL PARK: Wildlife Wonderland
Awake to the soothing sounds of the jungle. After a hearty breakfast, prepare to embark on an exhilarating trek through the lush terrain of Betung Kerihun National Park. The trails will lead you over canopy bridges, alongside pristine rivers, and provide opportunities to catch glimpses of exotic wildlife. With a bit of luck, you might encounter wild orangutans, the enchanting Bornean gibbons, the elusive rhinoceros, vibrant hornbills, the giant squirrel, and a kaleidoscope of bird species. Your midday lunch will be a delightful forest picnic, and you'll return to your jungle camp or local house for a well-deserved dinner and a comfortable night's rest.

Day 5: BETUNG KERIHUN NATIONAL PARK - DANAU SENTARUM NATIONAL PARK: The Wetlands Adventure Begins
After a satisfying breakfast, our adventure continues as we board a boat destined for Lanjak village. From there, a combination of car and speedboat travel will transport us to the charming Tekenang village, nestled within the breathtaking Danau Sentarum National Park. This is where you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the marvels of the wetlands, with the chance to observe playful monkeys and the magnificent red arowana fish. Along the journey, a delicious lunch will be provided, and you'll spend the night on a fisherman's floating house, a unique and immersive experience.

Day 6: DANAU SENTARUM - PUTUSSIBAU: Homeward Bound
Our day begins early as we bid farewell to the enchanting Tekenang village. We embark on a return journey to Putussibau, making use of a speedboat that takes us via the stunning landscapes of Sentarum Lake and the majestic Kapuas River. This approximately 5-hour journey offers picturesque vistas that will leave you in awe. Upon reaching Putussibau, you'll check into your hotel for a well-deserved rest. During our travels, both lunch and dinner will be thoughtfully provided on the route.

Day 7: PUTUSSIBAU – PONTIANAK: A Return to Equatorial Splendor
As your adventure draws to a close, savor your last breakfast at the hotel. You'll have some free time to unwind before catching your flight to Pontianak. Upon landing in Pontianak, our team will be ready to transfer you to your hotel for one more restful night. Rest assured, meals will be provided as you make your way to your final destination.

Day 8: PONTIANAK - AIRPORT: Farewell to Borneo
